Sanitation - Mill Cleaner

Joining our sanitation team could be just the position for you!

Responsibilities and regular duties include:

• Cleaning the following areas: Overheads, walls, ledges, roof, screens on doors and windows, window sills, fire hoses, heaters, corners and hard to reach areas of the floor, tables, storage cabinets, exterior of all equipment, stairs, lights, rail shed, bulk truck loading area and the grounds around the plant.
• Keeping all tools, air hoses, ladders and brooms hung up or properly stored when not being used.
• Ensuring that there is good, clean brooms on floors.
• Maintaining master sanitation schedules (MMS).
• Participate in monthly sanitation inspections and document corrective action for areas that do not meet standards.
• Report any maintenance issues to appropriate personnel by completing a work order for the repair. Duct tape should be dated and work order completed informing maintenance of the location of the leak.
• Report any problems found to the Sanitation Manager or the Quality Systems Manager. (Bug activity, Sanitation problems, leaky roofs etc.)
• Assist in glass inventory maintenance.
• Assist in metal detector issue documentation.

Work week consist of 8 hour days Monday - Friday. Occasional over-time.
