Canister Line Warehouse Assistant

To assist the Can Line operation by providing and stocking packaging materials, taking palletized product from production and
locating it in the warehouse. Responsible for backing up the cartooning and palletizing operator. Assist the warehouse in locating
product into warehouse system and/or loading for shipments.

Regular Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Remove palletized product from the production line and locate the pallet in the warehousing system.
• Supply all areas of the line with packaging materials.
• Put away all incoming can line materials
• Complete quality checks through out the process, metal detectors, check weigher
• Enter kits into computer systems for proper documentation of daily production run.
• Assist in start up procedures daily. Start can formers, compressors, sealers.
• Troubleshoot packaging issues and repair
• Back-up the Packaging Operator, including all operator functions
• Operate the tote unloading or loading station
• Communicate with supervisor, mills and warehouse regarding production issues.
• Follow all safety, quality, GMP and production policies and procedures.
• Maintain clean work environment.

Essential Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to analyze information, machine and process to troubleshoot mechanical problems.
• Basic knowledge of computers.
• Ability to communication and participate in team-based decision making processes.
• Previous forklift experience.

Physical Demands

• Ability to walk and stand for an extended period of time.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Work Conditions

• Work week consist of 5 days per week 8 hour shifts with occasional overtime during the week and on weekends.
